Be Happy In Recovery

Imagine for a moment a world where you are not a slave to drink or drugs. Imagine a time when you are achieving what you want to in life. Imagine a place where you feel comfortable and content and you do not have to rely on substances for your happiness. Imagine being a person you are proud of and an inspiration to others.

This is not a dream. It is recovery. And it is the reality of many people who previously considered themselves utterly hopeless and lost to addiction. This wonderful world is the reality for people like me and many others who have done the work required to reach recovery. Recovery is possible. It takes effort. It takes courage. It takes willingness to learn and to grow. The reward is that wonderful world where you can be at peace, happy and free.

Never give up hope for that world. It is there waiting for you. Get help. Get recovery. Get happy.
