i have a mother who is bed ridden from drink,shes in complete denial but needs help and wont ask?

You will need to see her doctor who may arrange for a psychiatric assessment if he feels it justified.
It takes two people to complete a Section – usually a psychiatrist and a family member/social worker.

The CCAR Recovery Coach Academy is an intensive 5-day, 30-hour training program designed for individuals who are interested in learning how to promote recovery by serving as a personal guide and mentor to those seeking or already in recovery. The training provides participants with the essential learning, tools, and resources they need to become an effective recovery coach, covering a wide variety of topics such as the roles of a recovery coach, guiding principles of recovery, relationship skill building, stages of recovery and their application, ethical issues, and more. The CCAR Recovery Coach Academy also includes an exclusive Training of Trainers component that is available only through the Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery. To date, 278 trainers have been trained to deliver the CCAR Recovery Coach Academy across the country.

With national recognition that has fueled significant demand for this highly effective training program, CCARs Recovery Coach Academy has been widely embraced by a multitude of government agencies, organizations, and individuals from all over the United States and around the world. Among the many clients currently taking advantage of CCARs unique offering are the Federal Governments Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS), The Resource Training Center, AdCare Educational Institute, Inc., New England Institute of Addiction Studies, Southern Coast Addiction Technology Transfer Center, as well as numerous other clients in 28 states.

Long known for its expertise and innovation in the addiction recovery field, Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery developed the CCAR Recovery Coach Academy led by a team of 3 nationally recognized professionals: Jim Wuelfing, Director of Prevention for Massachusetts Council on Compulsive Gambling, Phil Valentine, Executive Director of the Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery (CCAR), and Marshall Rosier, Executive Director of the Connecticut Certification Board.
